Drop-In Training
For visitors and travelers. In town for work or for the weekend, come workout with us.
Your gym home away from home, for however long you're in San Jose
Whether you are in town or nearby, in town for work or here for the weekend, come workout with us. Make us your gym home away from home. You don't need a standing membership to train in this room, just a pass and a class on the schedule.
How a drop-in actually works
Sign up and pay for your drop-in pass, and you'll be prompted to schedule your class. Arrive a few minutes early, check in digitally at the front desk, introduce yourself to the coach, and jump into the class already running that day.
Drop-ins need a minimum of one month of recent fitness experience so you can keep pace with the room. Call (408) 692-6882 to check the schedule before you land.

From a visiting athlete
Coaches here learn your name on day one.
“We dropped in to CrossFit Almaden while in town for the CrossFit Games and we had such a great time! Sarah was our coach and she was super friendly and knowledgeable. When we came back the next day she remembered our names! The members were friendly and welcoming. Great workouts.”

What you’ll need
- A minimum of one month of recent fitness experience
- A drop-in pass purchased ahead of your visit
- A class on the schedule and a few minutes to check in digitally at the front desk
A gym away from your gym, not a tourist stop.
Travelling wrecks training more reliably than any missed session at home. The hotel room has a treadmill and a rack of light dumbbells, the schedule is somebody else’s, and by day four the whole week is a write-off. Dropping in solves that for the cost of an hour and a bit of planning.
You get the class the members are getting. The same coach-led hour, the same programming, the same scaling conversation if the loading is not right for you that day. Weekday classes start at 5:45 in the morning and run through to seven in the evening, so a session fits either side of a working day. Saturday is a single morning class from nine until half past ten.
The one thing we ask is a month of training behind you. Not because the room is precious about it, but because a drop-in lands mid-programme with no on-ramp, and a first-ever session deserves the tour and the sit-down that the free trial gives you. If this would be your first time in a CrossFit gym, book that instead and you will get far more out of the hour.
